Meet Dixie, a beautiful young female shepherd who accompanied me on my tour of the ghost town of Quesnel Forks
Quesnel Forks dates back to 1859 when the town of Quesnel Forks was established at the junction of the Quesnel and Cariboo Rivers to support the Cariboo Gold Rush of 1860-1862. The town was finally abandoned in the 1950s.
Other photos from the cemetery and ghost town can been seen here, including a Tong house and its fascinating history: http://goo.gl/2YhQFU
