Khmer classical dancers
Khmer dancers representing Hanuman (monkey figure) with a knife and an Apsara figure, both assuming classical poses in a light rain in a doorway on the Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Thom, Cambodia. Apsara figures are carved everywhere on the temples of Cambodia, but strangely there is very little information about them. In Hindu and Buddhist mythology they are said to be female spirits of the clouds and waters (best larger)

on April 29, 2016I love the positions of their hands and feet. They remind me a little of the dances in the old movie "The King & I"
