A guy and his gal
A heavily antlered dominant bull elk (Cervus canadensis) and one of his females (who lack antlers) eat hay in the snow during winter at the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Whitehorse, Yukon Territories. Elk are also called wapiti from the Cree language (the Cree tribe occupies large areas of Canada's north). A larger sizes you can see the bull's tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth.
