Red lotus, flowers and leaves (Padonma Kyar), Inle Lake, Myanmar As a follow up to the photos of the lotus fibre weaving ((, I promised to post photos of the plants that the fibres come from. This photo was taken in the early morning and the side light turned the lotus leaves the most amazing beaten silver colour (natural colour, not enhanced in PS) that complimented the intense magenta of the flowers. The side light didn't penetrate into the water, which was in dark shadow, adding to the total effect.
