This boat was clearly jury rigged and it was a wonder it still floated (best larger). Look closely at the details of its 'construction' from the wooden box holding the passengers to the motor in the middle ( the propeller must have stuck down through a hole in the hull) and the steering oar. And check out the tea pot sitting in the middle of the boat.
Terry, you're right - this is the oddest boat construction I've ever seen, and it's great in the larger sizes. What also tickled me is the look (not too happy perhaps) on the woman's face - or is she afraid the boat won't get her to her destination. I also liked the portion of her bare foot showing over the edge. Thanks for your comment on the girl in the heavy coat today. Yes, I felt a little concern for her when she put it on to model it because it was about 85 degrees that day, and she wore that coat for about 10 minutes. She had to be so hot. Both she and the other girl had shorts on. So you're right - the heavy coat and her bare legs were a bit out of sync. Thanks again.
